CREATE SOMETHING AND BRING IT TO LIFE.

I created a coat that was made out of wool/cashmere for my final project class at Parsons. For making a coat, it would take two and a half yards. Then I ended up having a yard left. So I decided to make a makeup bag. Waste less, the better, right? Here is the result of what I made.

Note: Invisible zipper. I was happy it came out really well with that. Super cute! 

 

Now move on to a new project. This is a set of half size blocks. It will help you get a quick look and you can then speed it up in full size. As I mentioned earlier, you will not waste a lot of muslin when experimenting.
